| Jersey / T-shirt knit | Machine wash 30 °C gentle. Lay flat to dry to keep shape. No high heat. |
| Denim | Machine wash inside-out 30 °C. Air dry to avoid shrinkage. Iron inside-out on medium. |
| Leggings / Lycra blend | Machine wash 30 °C gentle. No tumble dry — air dry only to preserve stretch. |
| Linen / Cotton-linen | Machine wash 30 °C or hand wash. Iron damp on medium-high for a crisp finish. |
| Fleece / Sweatshirt | Machine wash 30 °C inside-out. Tumble dry low or air dry. No ironing needed. |
| Printed / Graphic tees | Wash inside-out, cold water. Air dry away from sunlight to protect print. |
Dos & don'ts
Do
- Sort lights and darks before washing
- Turn printed & dark items inside-out
- Pre-treat grass, mud & food stains
- Check care labels — they always win
Don't
- Wash above 40 °C unless label says so
- Tumble dry leggings or jersey knits
- Iron directly over printed graphics
- Leave damp clothes in the machine
Parent tip: Keep a stain remover pen in your bag for playdates and school lunch spills — treating stains on the spot makes a huge difference. For muddy playwear, let the mud dry completely before brushing it off, then wash as normal.
