Check care labels — they always win
Don't
Wash above 40 °C unless label says so
Tumble dry leggings or jersey knits
Iron directly over printed graphics
Leave damp clothes in the machine
Parent tip: Keep a stain remover pen in your bag for playdates and school lunch spills — treating stains on the spot makes a huge difference. For muddy playwear, let the mud dry completely before brushing it off, then wash as normal.
