How to read this chart

A  Length (top): From the highest point of the shoulder down to the bottom hem.

B  Shoulder: Straight across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.

C  Chest: All-round measurement of the garment just below the armholes.

D  Length (bottom): From the top of the waistband down to the bottom hem, along the side.

E  Waist: All-round measurement of the waistband when relaxed. The elastic stretches for a comfortable fit.

F  Hip: All-round measurement at the widest part of the seat.

Tips for the perfect fit

  • These are measurements of the garment, not of your child's body.
  • Elasticated waists are measured relaxed and will stretch comfortably.
  • Easiest way to choose: lay a well-fitting outfit your daughter already owns flat, measure it, and pick the size with the closest numbers.
  • Measuring your child instead? Choose a size where the garment is a little bigger than her body, so she has room to move and play.
  • In between two sizes? Go for the bigger one – little ones grow fast!
  • Ages are a general guide only. Every child grows differently, so please go by the measurements.
